Expertise in Executive Appointments, IT and Business Change Recruitment
Kyna Associates was born with three simple things in mind: always tell the truth, treat others how you’d like to be treated and remember that a relationship is something that lasts a long time.
That’s why our core values are integrity, service and partnership.
We meet the needs of clients and candidates who seek a long-term recruitment partner they can completely trust to find them the best professionals and opportunities to fulfill their ambitions.
We could talk for hours about how we’re different; the years of experience we have; how our team have proven track records as top consultants; the long-term relationships we have built with some of the best in the business; how we have experience of every recruitment methodology in the book (and beyond), how we’ve delivered the best people to the best clients, from technical specialists through to senior executives (and we really could talk and talk).
But we won’t, we’d rather listen to you.
To be the most highly regarded Executive Appointments, IT and Business Change recruitment company, by our outstanding client and candidate base. This will be achieved by total commitment to our core values.
We never lie or bend the truth when engaging with clients or candidates.
We go above and beyond the call of duty and always embrace feedback. We are THE ONLY recruitment company in the UK to have our independent feefo feedback displayed live on our website!
We create long lasting mutually beneficial relationships that focus on the development and success of others which in turn will ensure our own success.
Why the name?
Kyna is a Gaelic word that means wisdom. We wanted to use a word that has substance, history and (most importantly) reflected the fact we only work with the best. Our belief is that the more we all associate ourselves with wisdom, the wiser and more successful we will all become.
Every company’s activities have the potential to affect the environment, but we’re determined to minimize our own impact, and we’ve created our green policy to:
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and codes of conduct
• Increase awareness among employees, suppliers and candidates on environment issues, including measures to minimize adverse impacts from waste and travel
• Reduce waste generation by recycling office waste, supplies and equipment, and switching off equipment and lights at the end of the working day
• Ensure minimal emissions of carbon through switching off heating during warmer months; reducing the frequency with which office supplies are ordered; employing locally based staff; using public transport whenever possible; and by buying Fair-trade products.
We always seek to do all we can for all we work with (including each other) and we go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we can help improve the situation of others.
This follows through to our CSR, which incorporates a comprehensive green policy and support of charities. Over the years, our team have been regular donators to Action Aid, WWF, have walked 50Km in the Pennines for the Demelza Hospice, Planted Trees for Cities, Completed Charity Challenges for Focus Birmingham, been volunteers for the Antony Nolan Trust, Worcestershire Wildlife Trust, The Dogs Trust and Wye and Usk Foundation.
We sponsored Bike Across America 2011 for Julia’s House Hospice, sponsored BGL Group’s Great Wall of China Trek and Breast Friends Coast to Coast Cycle ride.
Further to the above, we also donate a percentage of our annual profits to nominated charities every year. To date we have donated £4160 to these charities since the company launch in 2011.
