79 per cent of employers in the UK using interim resources to provide access to strategic skills
According to the JobsOutlook report published by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), 79% of UK employers are using interim resources to provide access to strategic skills as the skilled market continues to contract as the economy continues to gather strength.
This is great news for both the skilled permanent and interim labour market as the career options available to candidates increases, and whilst employers may find sourcing talent for their business difficult, it is good to remember that the fact they are able to recruit is positive.

• 89 per cent of employers plan to increase their permanent staff in the next three months.
• 43 per cent plan to increase their temp staff in the next three months.
• 40 per cent plan to increase their temp staff in the next four to twelve
